About Brunda Moka Dias

Brunda Moka Dias was born in India and came to the US in her mid-teens. When she is not transporting children in her minivan, Brunda loves to paint, travel and read. Having experienced many types of border crossings and having written about it in her doctoral dissertation, Brunda is interested in and intrigued by the various ways in which people balance and negotiate their movement in a world full of myriad cultural influences and diminishing borders. She chooses to write for Desi Knowledge because it is a forum in which one can discuss being of Indian origin in the US, with their children, in a practical and informative way.
