Deliveries from ACK India take much longer and they do not provide you with any update about shipping or share the tracking number, so you don't know what's happening at their end. (Optional)		 Quite frankly, I am very disappointed with this organization. Not only did my package never arrive (it has been close to 2 months), I never even received a refund check for an item that I purchased online but was apparently out of stock. Monica claims to have done everything she could to ensure safe delivery of the package but she had already admitted that when preparing the items for shipping, she does not require signature upon delivery, which is an obvious and free safety measure that should be taken when delivering products to customers. At the very least, if convenience is an issue, the customer should have the option. Furthermore, in one of the initial emails regarding the missing items, Monica explained that the company replaces products if the customer does not receive the package for "whatever reason" which clearly would include loss. She even said she would call me to discuss, and I never received a follow-up call or a response to my last email setting forth my concerns which I sent two ago. So I spent over $40 on materials I never received, nor have I received a refund. I have not even heard back from Monica on this matter. There was also one book that was out of stock for which I was supposed to receive a refund. I did not receive the refund either. And now I have to resort to submitting a customer review, and God only knows where this message will end up. I understand that Desi Knowledge is a nonprofit and I admire its mission. My appreciation for education and supporting the less fortunate prompted me to purchase items from the organization, much to my regret. And as a facilitator of a Desi sing-song and storytime group in Cambridge, MA, I was hoping to purchase many more items from Monica, however, based on this experience, I think I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

I had no idea if my order was placed properly or not and I tried emailing them but there was no response. About 5-6 weeks passed before I got my order in the mail - which I was very glad to receive. But I had no clue what was happening in those weeks or whether I would ever get my order. Managing of sales communication needs to improve a lot.
