| This is the story of the birth of krishna. Lord Krishna was the eighth child of Devki and Vasudev, who were imprisoned by the evil Kansa, after a prophecy foretold that their eighth child would kill Kansa and end his atrocities. Vasudev carries little krishna(once born) to Gokul and leaves him under the care of Nand and Yashodha who raise Krishna. krishna as a child perfomed many miracles, one of them being lifting the Gobvardhan mountain on his little finger to save the villages from the fury of Lord Indra. |
